An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the General Theatre Clinical Procurement team. The successful candidate will have experience clinically in theatre and procurement / purchasing. They will also be responsible for managing and requisitioning stores and maintaining appropriate stock levels for the service. Other responsibilities include leading the quarterly stock take, liaising with clinical, medical, procurement staff and company representatives. Organising clinical trials to find financial savings without compromising quality. It is proposed that there will be a handover period between the existing post holder and the successful candidate.
The General Theatre Department undertakes a wide range of specialties in both the elective and emergency settings including Orthopedic Trauma, ENT, Max Fax, Plastics, Breast and reconstruction, Vascular, General Surgery including upper GI/Colo-rectal and Urology including Robotic surgery;
